Instructional Design 101 with Kimberly Fields

 
This session will provide you with an overview of what instructional design is and how it can apply to a variety of different learning situations. Participants will leave with an understanding of the frequently referenced ADDIE model as well as the newest model on the block, SAM.

Speakers Bio 

 Kimberly Fields has ten years experience in education and serves as the Assistant Manger of Education for Weston Distance Learning, located in Fort Collins, Colorado. Her varied career experiences have allowed her to apply instructional design in public education, government, and for-profit environments, and in 2010, she was awarded the distinction of Master Distance Educator by the Wyoming Distance Education Consortium. Her instructional design credentials include Coach and Trainer Certifications through the Worldwide Instructional Design System, graduate coursework at the University of Wyoming, and a post-graduate certificate in Universal Design for Learning from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
