"Run Learning Like a Business: How to Get the Most from your Investment in Training" with Dave Vance
Join Dave Vance, former President of Caterpillar University and author of The Business of Learning, to learn about three steps every organization can take to get the biggest impact from its investment in learning. Dave will explain how to
· Align training to your organization’s goals
· Develop a business plan for learning
· Create an evaluation and measurement strategy
These concepts are used very successfully in other aspects of business to ensure resources are dedicated to the most important goals, to ensure there is agreement on how the goal will be achieved, and to ensure there is agreement on how to measure success. Dave will also share how new industry standards for L&D (Talent Development Reporting Principles or TDRp) support this effort to run learning more like a business and produce measurable results.
