In his 2015 book "Canoeing the Mountains," consultant and executive coach Tod Bolsinger invites readers to learn to lead again: "...culture is changing, the world is changing, and [organizations] are changing." And he wrote these are statements before the pandemic; anyone seen even more change in the last few years?
"Canoeing the Mountains" shares how Lewis and Clark, as experienced boatmen, were ready to find the waterway to the Pacific Ocean, only to find themselves facing the Rocky Mountains. Adapt?... They had to. In this book discussion session, Demetrios Godenitz will share some book highlights related to navigating uncertain times and landscapes, including applications for training, team development, and leadership.
Note: While the book is written as a religious leadership text, topics will focus on non-religious skills and abilities applicable in many settings.
