Because it is important for leaders of organizations to find and develop talented employees, it is critical to understand talent management. This session will provide an overview of the components of this process:
· Defining talent management
· Recognizing different types of talent
· Examining recruitment and retention strategies
· Recognizing challenges that may occur
In addition to selecting talent, leaders must hone their performance management skills, and utilize the evaluation and supervision process to enhance the skills and talent of individual employee. Participants will be encouraged to share the pros and cons of their current evaluation process as it relates to personnel development.
