About the Speaker

After years in spent in video production and website design, Matt stumbled into the world of training when he became the video guy for the Wyoming Distance Learning Center. The WyoDLC was a short-lived, grant funded program meant to centralize distance learning for the state. He quickly learned that video was only one part of the job and began learning to use Blackboard and also dove into some rudimentary instructional design.

After the WyoDLC was absorbed by the State of Wyoming, Matt became the eLearning coordinator for the Human Resources Division, where he has been  happily doing every aspect of online training for the last 7 years.

He still has plenty of side hustles in both video and web development. He has been the Technical Director for University of Wyoming Athletics live sports program since 2000 and currently runs his own web development company called Stay@Home Creative Services

... but he prefers to spend his time mountain biking, snowboarding or tasting delicious Colorado microbrews.
