Do you want to draw out your next presentation or meeting? Grab your markers and start creating, because you can! As trainers, presenters, and speakers, we all have information we want to communicate. We also want our audience to remember it. Although we all learn using a variety of learning styles, 65% of us are visual learners. During this workshop, we will take some text “content” and transform it into a visual presentation that will help your learning audience better remember what you say. It will be fun… and yes, you really can do this!
During this 90-minute workshop, you will:
- Refresh the technique of using basic shapes to draw images.
- Pick a room. Draw as many objects associated with that space.
- Express emotion using common objects.
- Draw your training program on a journey map.
This presentation will touch on the following components of the ATD Competency Model.
- Instructional Design
- Training Delivery
When: 11AM-1PM, Tuesday, 10/16/18
Please note this is half an hour earlier than our usual start time for lunch programs. Sue is providing us with a 90-minute workshop. Please plan to join us at 11 for lunch, so we can clear the tables at 11:30 and make space to draw!
- 11:00-11:30 - Lunch and Networking
- 11:30-1:00 - Presentation
Where: UNC Loveland Center at Centerra
